Our Team Story — The Beat Goes On

The Beat Goes On was created from love, loss, and hope.

Our team walks in memory of my mom and dad, who both suffered from heart disease and ultimately lost their lives to it. Their journey made heart health deeply personal for our family, but our story is one shared by far too many families.

We also walk for those who are still fighting—for our family members, friends, and loved ones living with heart disease, high blood pressure, and other cardiovascular challenges. And we walk for the generations coming behind us, hoping our children and grandchildren can enjoy healthier hearts and longer lives.

Heart disease can change a family in a heartbeat. That’s why we choose to turn our memories and experiences into action.

Every person who joins The Beat Goes On, every step we take, and every dollar we raise helps support lifesaving research, CPR education, heart-health awareness, and the mission to save more lives.
