2026 Triangle Heart Walk
7100 Cardiology QT's
I am participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk because I believe in the importance of raising awareness, supporting heart health, and helping prevent cardiovascular disease. As a nurse working in a cardiology stepdown setting, I have seen first hand how heart disease can impact patients and their families. This cause is especially meaningful to me because I have witnessed the challenges patients face throughout their recovery and the importance of education, prevention, and early intervention.
By participating in the Heart Walk, I hope to help raise funds that support cardiovascular research, education, patient resources, and healthier communities. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to preventing heart disease and stroke and improving the lives of those affected. I am proud to walk for my patients, their families, and everyone working toward a healthier heart.
In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Join our team today or support by donating towards our fundraising goal.
