Over the last few years, I’ve made a commitment to improving my health and fitness. What started as a personal goal has become something much bigger—a reminder that taking care of our health affects not only ourselves, but the people who depend on us.
As a husband and dad, I want to be healthy, active, and present for my family for many years to come. I also want my kids to grow up seeing that taking care of yourself matters—not just through what I tell them, but through the example I set every day.
That same mindset carries into my role at work. I have the privilege of leading an incredible team, and I believe leadership is about more than the work we accomplish. It’s also about caring about the people around us and encouraging each other to live healthier, stronger lives.
That’s why I’m proud to lead the Southland Precon Team in this year’s American Heart Association Heart Walk. Heart disease and stroke impact almost every family in some way, and the research, education, CPR training, and resources supported by the American Heart Association can truly save lives.
For me, this walk represents health, leadership, family, and setting an example.
I hope you’ll consider supporting our team—or even better, walking alongside us—as we work together to make a difference, one step at a time.
