Why Azziem 'The Dream' Walk?
This year marks my 15th Heart Walk, and my commitment remains the same: to help make the next life-saving scientific breakthrough possible. Every step we take brings us closer to saving more lives — thank you for walking with me to make it happen!
I started walking because of the people closest to me:

My father passed away at just 53 from congenital heart disease when I was only 18.

My identical twin survived a “widowmaker” heart attack at 53, but sadly passed at 58.

My doctors remind me often that I carry risk factors too; hypertension, high cholesterol, and a family history of heart disease.

My daughter, Tia Nicole, and my grandchildren, David Anthony and Joyce Alexandria, are my motivation to keep going strong. I want to spend as much time as possible with them.
Today, I walk not only for my family, but also for the millions of people just like me, people who just want one more day, one more laugh, one more memory with the people they love. Together, we can help make that possible.
