Hi everyone-it's that time of year again, and it's both meaningful and bittersweet. I'm participating in this year's American Heart Puget Sound Heart & Stroke Walk in honor of my Dad, Mahendra Singh "Charlie." & Uncle Serge
On 10/26/25 we unexpectedly lost my Dad to a silent heart attack after a life-long journey with Coronary Artery Disease. I not only lost a Dad, I lost one of my best friends. Being a part of his health journey has been something that I'm proud to have been an advocate for at his most vulnerable moments. Not only am I walking to honor the memory of my dad, but now also for his older brother-my Uncle Serge-who we recently lost in July to a sudden heart attack as well.
Losing two incredible men in our family to the same devastating disease is a painful reminder of why heart health research and prevention are so critical.
I've set a personal goal of raising $2,000 as part of my continued commitment to living a heart-healthy lifestyle and helping spread awareness about heart disease-something that touches so many lives.
I would truly appreciate your support, whether that means joining me, sharing this post, or making a donation. This cause is very close to my heart, and continuing this journey is one way I hope to honor my Dad & Uncle and make them proud.
Thank you so much for being part of this with me.
