2026 Washington State Heart & Stroke Walk
Captain Cardiac & The Coronaries
In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR.
In the early morning on November 16, 2025, I experienced cardiac arrest. My wife, Carrin, performed CPR for 7 minutes until first responders arrived. Our family has quickly been educated on the importance of heart health and we know firsthand how CPR can save a life! My Life!
Our friends, family and entire community are a huge part of our story – your prayers, meals, overflowing help, and outpouring of encouragement during that difficult time last Fall was extraordinary. A real testament to what community is all about.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesavings moments for everyone.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Join our team today or support by donating towards our fundraising goal.
**Come show your support and join our walk on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Seattle Center (305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109). Opens at 7:30 AM, Walk begins at 9:00 AM.**
