9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive.  Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR.

In the early morning on November 16, 2025, I experienced cardiac arrest.  My wife, Carrin, performed CPR for 7 minutes until first responders arrived. Our family has quickly been educated on the importance of heart health and we know firsthand how CPR can save a life!  My Life! 

Our friends, family and entire community are a huge part of our story – your prayers, meals, overflowing help, and outpouring of encouragement during that difficult time last Fall was extraordinary.  A real testament to what community is all about.
