2026 Washington State Heart & Stroke Walk
Growth at Heart
Will YOU be the difference this year?
Heart disease and stroke impact families, friends, coworkers, and entire communities. That's why I choose to serve as a coach for the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
For me, Heart Walk is about much more than fundraising. It's about creating awareness, building healthier communities, and helping people gain skills that can save lives. Through our partnership with the American Heart Association, I've had the opportunity to support CPR education efforts at our Bothell campus and encourage others to become more confident in responding during a cardiac emergency. Every person who learns Hands-Only CPR has the potential to save a life.
This cause is also personal. Over the years, I've seen friends, family members, and coworkers face heart-related health challenges. One of the reasons I became so passionate about Heart Walk was seeing a teammate successfully recover after major heart surgery. Stories like these remind me that heart disease doesn't just affect statistics—it affects people we know and care about.
As a coach, I love bringing people together around a shared purpose. Whether someone joins our team, makes a donation, learns CPR, or simply helps spread awareness, every action matters. Heart Walk gives us the opportunity to create a real impact while supporting research, education, prevention, and lifesaving programs.
That's why I walk. That's why I coach. And that's why I'm inviting others to join me.
Every step, every donation, and every new lifesaver makes a difference.
