I'm excited to be named 2026 Ohio Valley Heart Walk Chair. I was previously nominated for the 2025 Ohio Valley Go Red for Women movement's Woman of Impact campaign and past top walker for the Heart Walk.

My "Why" is personal as I am a heart attack survivor. On the morning of September 12, 2023 I suffered a Nstemi (Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)Heart Attack. Recognizing the signs and symptoms I quickly received medical attention. After testing, great care by local hospitals & doctors, cardiac rehab, and self care I am healthy and a survivor!

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, yet women are underdiagnosed and undertreated. From receiving bystander CPR to facing inequities in care, women deserve better.

Our team is driven to prevent heart disease and stroke. We're building awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, and raising critical funds Because together, we're stronger against cardiovascular disease. Together, we have an unmatched ability to drive real change.
