Heart disease doesn't just happen to "someone else's family." It happened to mine.
Years ago, my dad took a CPR course through the American Heart Association. Because of what he learned, he was able to recognize the signs of his own heart attack - and it ultimately saved his life. That's something I'll never forget.
That's one of the reasons I support the Heart Walk. The American Heart Association doesn't just fund research; it invests in communities, expands access to lifesaving education, and helps close gaps in care. As cardiovascular disease remains the No. 1 killer of women, that work matters more than ever.
I'm proud that Advantage/5 Minute Pharmacy is a legacy sponsor of the 2026 Hawaii Heart Walk, and even prouder that our team can participate together no matter where we live. Whether you're walking in Hawaii or on the mainland, every step supports more training, more research, and more lifesaving moments.
So, will you walk with me and help make a difference, one heartbeat at a time?
