Walking with Gratitude
This year changed my family's life forever.
My wife faced the fight of her life when she received a heart transplant. There were moments filled with uncertainty, months in the hospital, and countless prayers from family and friends who never gave up on her. Through it all, I stood beside her, witnessing the incredible strength of the human spirit.
The greatest gift came from a selfless organ donor and their family. Because of their generosity, my wife was given a second chance at life.
Today, every step we take together feels like a miracle. That's why I am participating in the 2026 Hawaii Heart Walk. This walk is more than just an event, it’s personal and a way to support research, education, and care that help save lives every day.
Any contribution and/or participation on our Queen’s Medical Center “Team Facilities” would be much appreciated!
With gratitude, â¤ï¸
John
