In a heartbeat, YOU could be the difference.
In August 2023, my family experienced firsthand how quickly life can change. We lost my Uncle Scott to a sudden heart attack, leaving behind his loving wife—my aunt—and their two young children. Watching the impact of that loss on my aunt, cousins, and our entire family was heartbreaking. It was a powerful reminder of how important heart health awareness, research, and emergency response truly are.
Today, 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. Often, it's because no one nearby knows how to perform CPR. But together, we can help change that.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins and every dollar donated helps fund lifesaving research, expand CPR training, and support efforts that save lives.
This year, I'm walking in honor of Scott Burton and in support of every family impacted by heart disease and stroke. Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal and support the American Heart Association's mission to create a world of longer, healthier lives.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Thank you for your support.
