A few years ago my heartrate was all over the place. Even tho several docs told me it was just because I was overweight and since I was young, there was no need for concern. I eventually was refered to Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute who ran several tests based on my family history. They discovered I had a assecnding aortic aneurysm that over the next few years would grow to 5.7cm and given a two year life expectancy if surgery was not chosen.

Even tho I lived alone and had already buried my parents and had very little support I decided to have the surgery and it changed my life. Zero complications from the surgery and now I have a second chance on life. I believe this was only possible thru new technology and focused training that walks like this help raise funds for.
