Hi, I just wanted to tell you a little bit about me and why this cause is important to me.3yrs ago I found out I needed heart surgery to repair my left mitral valve due to rheumatic fever that I had as a child my native valve was damaged beyond repair and I had to have it replaced with a mechanical valve that left me on coumadin for the rest of my life. Then in March of 2025 I was hospitalized with bilateral plueral effusion I had fluid build up on both lungs with other test I was told that I had CHF, chronic heart failure. I was told that the issues with my mitral valve contributed to my chronic heart failure also CHF runs in my family my mother and grandfather passed away from this disease. I just want to help raise awareness and help show my support to everyone that suffers with any type of heart disease it's really tough living with it.
