Why I Walk
Heart disease has changed my life forever. I lost both of my parents, Rev. Robert Coleman and Elizabeth Coleman, to heart disease. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of them. Their love, strength, and the values they instilled in me continue to guide my life, and I carry their memory with me every step I take.
That is why, on September 27, 2026, I will proudly participate in the American Heart Walk. I walk in loving memory of my parents, in honor of heart disease survivors, and with hope that one day no family will have to experience the pain of losing a loved one to heart disease or stroke.
Every dollar raised through the American Heart Association helps fund lifesaving research, CPR training, education, and programs that give people a better chance at living longer, healthier lives. Because of these efforts, more families can have precious moments with the people they love.
I'm honored to walk alongside an incredible team of Heart Heroes, and I would be grateful if you would join me in this mission. Whether you make a donation or walk beside me on September 27, your support truly makes a difference. No gift is too small—every contribution helps bring us one step closer to a world free of heart disease and stroke.
This walk is much more than an event for me. It is a tribute to the lives of Rev. Robert Coleman and Elizabeth Coleman, a celebration of their legacy, and a promise to keep fighting for healthier hearts and stronger families.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can honor those we've lost, bring hope to those still fighting, and help save lives.
Please consider making a donation today and helping me reach my fundraising goal. Every step matters. Every dollar counts. Together, we can make a lasting difference. â¤ï¸
