Annette's Heart was created in loving memory of my mom, Annette, who passed away on November 7, 2021, after a lifelong battle with a congenital heart defect.

Born with a hole in her heart, my mom faced more in her 54 years than most people could imagine, including five open-heart surgeries, a stroke, and numerous heart-related complications. She was told she likely wouldn't live past 50, but she defied those odds and gave us 54 incredible years filled with love, strength, and memories I will carry with me forever.

My hope for Annette's Heart is not only to raise funds for lifesaving heart research and education, but also to encourage more people to learn about heart health and recognize the warning signs of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and heart disease.
