In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.

Earlier this year, our family experienced one of the scariest moments of our lives when my husband suffered a heart attack and had to undergo open-heart surgery.

Nothing prepares you for something like that.

One moment, life is moving along as usual. The next, you're sitting in a hospital, praying, hoping, and realizing just how fragile and precious life truly is.

By God's grace, my husband is here with us today, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for that gift. â¤ï¸

But I also know that not every family gets the same outcome.

That is why I'm walking.

I'm walking for my husband.

I'm walking for the families who have experienced the fear of almost losing someone they love.

I'm walking for those who are still fighting.

And I'm walking in memory of those who are no longer with us.

Supporting the American Heart Association has always been important to me, but today, this mission has an entirely different meaning.
