Almost every one of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke and heart disease - which claim far too many lives. 

My grandfather was only in his 50's when diagnosed with heart disease. In his early 60's, he underwent Open-Heart surgery and had 5 bypasses performed during the procedure. Many of his siblings also suffered from heart disease which also led to them having a stroke later in life. With the history of heart disease in my family, increasing my risk of disease - I am riding to help raise awareness and to hopefully live a better, longer life to see my three children grow up for many years to come!
