This year I was asked to help lead the cycle nation event led by the American Stroke Association called Cycle Nation. Their goal is to raise stroke awareness and funds that will be used for stroke research and system of care grants. As you would imagine, this mission is near and dear to our STANSE team as we have worked to improve the care of our patients by decreasing our treatment times with the end goal of decreasing morbidity, mortality, and disability.

Almost every one of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke and heart disease - which claim far too many lives. Now is our chance to make a difference!
