The 2020 Greater Acadiana Heart Walk is NOW
A VIRTUAL AT-HOME HEALTHY EXPERIENCE
**BREAKING NEWS**
To all our participants, we have made the decision not to host our Greater Acadiana Heart Walk at River Ranch on April 18. The safety and health of our participants is our top concern, and we feel this is not the right time for a large gathering. We are encouraging those who are healthy and well to “join us virtually” April 18 by wearing your company or team heart walk shirt, walking on your favorite path and moving more, cooking a heart-healthy meal with your family, adding color and eating your fruits and veggies, staying hydrated and drinking more water and/or meditating to manage your stress.
Capture it all on camera and share your selfies and videos along the way using #greateracadianaheartwalk and tag us at @AHALouisiana - we’ll feature you on our social media pages. Post a selfie with AND invite friends and family to donate and support your cause.
Follow our 2020 Greater Acadiana Heart Walk Facebook Event Page for updates and tips to help you #GreaterAcadianaHeartWalk. We want to see you #Heartwalking, so share your pictures there too!

About the 2020 Greater Acadiana Heart Walk
Make more moments possible.
Life’s made up of special moments—and every day is an opportunity to make more. We walk to raise funds for science that helps us live longer, be healthier and make more moments possible.
With each step you’ll help cure heart disease and stroke. You’ll help millions of people celebrate more birthdays, fulfill more dreams and share more hugs.
This is not just another finish line. It’s a movement for the health and well-being of us all. We hope you’ll be a part of it.
