The Beat goes On
February 23, 2019 is a day I'll soon never forget. It was a day that changed our lives instantly. Without any prior warnings, a massive widow maker was in process and my mother was in for the fight of her life. The next 11 days were beyond scary and heart wrenching. Thanks to knowledgeable, fast acting 911 Dispatchers, Paramedics (Delhi Fire Station 36), Nurses and Doctors (at Christ Hospital), we still have our mother (wife, grandma, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend). They are miracle workers and true angels on earth.
I walk because I have another day and opportunities to build and create memories with my mother. I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. Will you be a Heart Walk Hero with me?
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally. It's a miracle my mother is still here and I hope you join me in donating, walking or running to help make a difference. Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
You never know when you or someone you love will need support. Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
Be a Heart Walk Hero with us and together we’ll help save lives.
