This year's reimagined Heart Walk will be the biggest ever, as we bring the experience right to you! You can walk wherever you are, joining 1 million walkers from across the nation.

Almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 are stroke survivors or people with heart disease. They're counting on us now more than ever! Your donations will help fast track research and train front-line workers - while we continue the fight against heart disease and stroke.

“Now, more than ever, we’re all looking for ways to connect with others, stay active and stay encouraged. So when the American Heart Association reached out and asked KPMG to chair the 2020 Heart Walk, I immediately thought about our culture of wellness and our commitment to community impact,” said Gillis. “Moreover, heart health depends on physical activity, stress management, mindfulness, and nutrition—the very same tools we all rely on to keep us strong and well in any health landscape.”

By participating in the Heart Walk, you’re joining a million Heart Walk Heroes from across the nation raising funds for lifesaving science. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and be Healthy For Good.

Take a few minutes to consider the lives you are going to help change for the better through your leadership and donations. We’re talking more moms, dads, brothers, aunts and babies' lives saved. Help keep hearts everywhere beating. Let’s take steps together to cure heart disease and stroke. More information about the Greater Washington Regional Heart Walk Digital Experience.
