REGISTRATION

Is there a registration fee?

Yes, we have three registration options available!

  • Children's Registration (17 and under): $20 
  • Adult Registration: $45 includes a finisher medal mailed to the address provided during registration
  • Adult Registration: $65 includes a finisher medal and Lawyers Have Heart T-Shirt mailed to the address provided during registration

Should I register ahead of time?

Absolutely! Registering online gives you access to all our great fundraising tools and keeps you updated on day of event info. It also lets us know how many people to expect on the day of the walk.

If I participated last year, how do I get my login information?

Can I participate in Lawyers Have Heart if I'm not on a Team?

Sure, you can participate and fundraise individually. Every donation raised will help create big science! But hey, since you’re already on board, maybe consider starting a team and asking friends, family and coworkers to join you. It’s easy, and we’ll walk you through each step.

 

RACE DAY

How Does a Virtual Race Day work?

The Lawyers Have Heart 5K is a fun and meaningful way to celebrate heart and stroke survivors, raise lifesaving funds and encourage physical activity. On Friday, June 11, participants and teams will not physically meet but are invited to get moving at home or around the neighborhood and share their photos and videos to our Facebook event page.

How do I enter my Race/Activity time on Event Day?

There will be an option to self enter your race/activity time on the front page of our website, www.LHHBoston.org. This option will become available on race day, June 11th.

How can I get involved with Lawyers Have Heart between now and Race Day?

  • The Boston 5th Annual Silent Auction will be a digital event with mobile bidding taking place April 28th – May 4th. Registration details to come.
  • Lawyers Have Heart Rally Day: Friday, May 7th
  • The Move More Challenge: Begins May 12th and will help us count down 30 days until Race Day!

How Does the Move More Challenge Work?

The Lawyers Have Heart Move More Challenge will get you moving while protecting the hearts you love. Beginning May 12th our participants will have the ability to track movement through the Heart Walk app. Any activity you track, counts! You can walk, dance or even vacuum to stay moving. Keep an eye out for the Move More Leaderboard to engage in some friendly competition between your fellow Lawyers Have Heart participants. What is Rally Day?

Join us on Friday, May 7th and invite your friends, family and co-workers to join us in rallying together to support the life saving mission of the American Heart Association by kick starting our recruitment and fundraising efforts leading up to Race Day!

FUNDRAISING

Is there a fundraising minimum?

No, and there’s no maximum either! We encourage every participant to make a difference by asking friends and family for donations and making a personal donation.

How are donations made?

Donations can be made securely to your personal fundraising page with a credit card. Cash and checks may also be collected. All checks should be made payable to the American Heart Association.

Can I fundraise after Race day?

Of course! Who are we to stop you from achieving fundraising fame? Your fundraising page will stay open for approximately 6 weeks after the event. You can also submit cash and checks to your local American Heart Association office at any time.

What kind of support will I or my team receive?

Real live American Heart Association staff and volunteers are ready to help every step of the way with fundraising tools, resources and any other support you may need.
