We walk in honor of this little man who is our world and to help raise money and awareness for anyone affected by CHD or any heart disease.  

Kie was born with 13heart defects with his largest being hypoplastic left heart syndrome.  Kie has 2 chambers to his heart where you and I have 4.  We are blessed that with all the research that is done Kie is here with us today.  

Kie has Had 3 major open heart surgeries, countless heart caths, endless echo's and ekgs, more doctors appointments, needle sticks and hospital stays then I can count.  He has a feeding tube as well and was on oxygen from 6mo old to almost 3 yrs old.  

Kie has shown what a fighter he is and how strong he is every step of the way.  These kids are warriors to the end and with your help supporting such an important cause there will continue to be more stories like his of these kids thriving and adults surviving heart complications.  Your support is needed to continue to gain research and knowledge to better treat these patients and continue to improve their survival.

Every year Kie has attended the heart run and walk and since he's been able to walk he has walked at least a lap on his own and this year I can't wait to see how many laps he can do since his last surgery!  Every year he fights forward and we thank you all for your support!!!
