Our family knows first hand the world rocking affects of Heart Disease and stroke. Our oldest child, Liv was born with a severe congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Simply put, they are living with only half-a-heart. Liv has endured three open-heart surgeries, countless heart catheters, and survived a stroke in their short fourteen years. Before the 1980s there were zero survivors of this horrible disease. Due in part to donations like yours, research and innovation brought forth the palative procedures that have Liv here with us today.

Our three year old, Isla has also had her share of visits with pediatric cardiology due to a small hole in her heart that did not close after birth.
