Hello, my name is Nicole Snyder, and I am excited to finally participate once again this year, recovering from the pandemic, in the AHA’s Annual Heart Walk.  Our Heart Walk Team members raise funds specifically for pediatric cardiac research for the American Heart Association in memory of my son Jacob Ryan Wells. Jacob had a heart disease called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  On April 26, 2011, at the young age of six years old, Jacob lost his battle with this disease. I am dedicated to raising funds for this organization to make a difference and help other children dealing with heart disease. 

Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer in out nation and stroke ranks no. 2 worldwide. You could do something to change that.

We are walking together - not only for our own health, but also for yours. And for the health of our parents, our children, and our grandchildren.

The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
