Melissa Walking Team FAQs:

•Is it okay to bring a person who didn’t sign up?  
Sure – bring them on along!  What we ask is that they just go online and register that morning or with us at the registration tent.  That way, we know who attended!  However, if all of your team has already registered for the walk, you can bypass the registration area and just have a super fun morning.

•What are the details on virtually participating?
If you have someone participating virtually, right now, they can take advantage of the Move More Challenge – all they will need to do is register and download the app to start tracking their minutes.  For the morning of the walk – there will be a Heart Walk Playlist that pops up on our website, much like it has on our Inland Empire site - 2023 Inland Empire Heart and Stroke Walk. It shows up on our site under “More Information” about a week prior on our site and gives anyone who is virtual the opportunity to listen to music and messaging just like you would hear that morning!

•For those running, while there be bibs they need to pick up before starting?
Yes!  Bib pick up will begin that morning at 6:30 a.m.  Also, if there are runners who haven’t registered, they will also be able to register that morning as well!
