I’m back! Can you believe it has been almost a year since I was six months post op from OHS finishing the 2022 Heart Mini Marathon in frigid cold temperatures? But everyone who supported me last year financially, emotionally and spiritually (lots of prayers the morning of the race), got me through the worst possible conditions to run a race as a cardiac patient. Believe me it was hard and extremely rewarding as I had a great warm embrace with my wife and son at the finish line.
And because of your support for last year’s race, you’ve motivated me to run again (hopefully it will be warmer). I’ve also decided to make a bigger commitment to raising awareness and much needed research funds by creating a team (the Perfect Heart team) and leading the Ethicon, Inc. Cincinnati campus campaign. Call me crazy but I'm all in to this cause that has impacted our family.
