My great-grandmother and grandmother both passed away from heart attacks. My grandmother was two months shy of receiving the treatment that would have saved her life: a stent. My father suffered with heart disease and my mother who is still living at 91, has been blessed by the work of the American Heart Association. I'm raising funds for the AHA because I don't want my story to become your story. This year my goal is $7,000 and I will be raising these funds honoring my father Dr James Wiley Sherwood and my mother Meryl R Sherwood.
