Lana L. Heller, age 74, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Born in Fort Wayne, IN, on June 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Hildred (Beckberger) Moser. Lana spent her childhood in Salisbury, MD and graduated from Wicomico Senior High School. She worked at Delmarva Power, where she met her husband of 46 years, Raymond S. Heller and moved to Newark, DE in 1978. For the past 25 years, Lana worked for National Decorative Distributors and Kirks Flowers, where she used her creative talents making floral arrangements, designing crafts and doing what she loved.
One could always find Lana outside enjoying nature and gardening. Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it. Lana found the beauty in the smallest things. She was a very genuine person, always looking out for others. Her strong religious faith helped guide her through life and in everything she did in her relationships with friends and family. Lana enjoyed reading, watching movies, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a gentle, kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be truly missed by all.
In addition to her husband, Lana is survived by her children, Denise Oswald of NJ, Sean Heller of DE and Todd Heller and daughter-in-law, Emily Heller of MA; grandchildren, Karley Oswald, Jake Heller and Cole Heller; and sister, Janis Smith of VA.
Services and interment will be held privately.
