My father's life was saved with a pacemaker 10 years ago and my mother benefitted from a minimally invasive valve replacement 5 years ago that restored her energy and joy for life. Beyond my family, I know many friends and colleagues who have been severely impacted by heart or stroke related illnesses. It truly is a cause that impacts us all.
