Hi. My name is Treynor Smith, and I am in my final year at Rockford Middle School - in 8th grade. Again this year, I am raising money for the American Heart Association; I have raised money every year since kindergarten. As of now, I've raised over $15,000 for AHA ($15,733.20) and I'd love to get to $20,000 in total. That means, this year, I need to raise $4266.80. I have been the top Rockford fundraiser for most of the years that I have done this, and I’m hoping to do it again.
People should contribute because a lot of kids like me are having these same heart problems. It’s nice to contribute to save lives like mine. Please help me contribute to the American Heart Association. It helps save lives like mine because AHA provides funding for research and new treatments.
My heart defect is called Truncus Arteriosus, and I have had 4 heart surgeries during my life. The first one was when I was 7 days old, and the last one was in 2021.
