Novermber 15th 2025, I walk for my beautiful niece Virginia "Nena" that received the news at the young age of 19 she was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White and as well as everyone affected. I tell her all the time how much I love her and I am proud of her. I always thank god for every moment, memory and second that I have with her always....Love you Nena.
I asked Virginia to share her story....... "I was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White (WPW) disease in March 2009 and was ablated on July 9, 2009. Since my diagnosis and surgery I still suffer from heart palpitations from time to time which prevents me from professionally dancing, that forced me into official retirement at the age of 19 after doing so my whole life. I also had to give up coaching, which tore me apart. Now, I am careful with my salt intake as I developed a sensitivity which triggers my heart. I am limited in certain simple activities like diving into a pool or simply sitting under water for too long without feeling the pressure. I cannot participate in HIIT exercises and am super aware of over heating while being in the sun. My preventative measures until the end of time will be a daily dose of Baby Aspirin and taking constant breaks while standing or walking for too long".....
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal and beyond today. Thank you in advance for any contribution and any words of encouragement and affirmation to my beautiful niece.
