2025 Tampa Bay Heart Walk
UMA - Team Hamilton
This year marks my inaugural year as a Heart Walk Executive Cabinet member and leader of Ultimate Medical Academy’s 2025 Heart Walk initiative – to raise awareness and support for the American Heart Association and its efforts to stop the No. 1 cause of death in the U.S. -- heart disease.
I’ve felt first-hand the impact heart disease can have on a family, losing my father in 2020 to a heart condition. The challenging part is that this could have been managed and possibly prevented with early detection. I walk in his memory and for every family still fighting for answers and support.
UMA has taken part in the Heart Walk since 2023 to make a positive change for heart health. Since that time, we have made big moves to support the American Heart Association (AHA). UMA has led the Tampa Bay Region in registered Heart Walkers for two years now. In 2024 we had over 870 team members registered and contributed almost $35,000 to the cause. We made a significant impact on a local level too, distributing 200 Basic Life Support provider manuals through the Tampa Family Health Center training program for community members -- equipping individuals with lifesaving skills. On top of that, we provided two CPR Anywhere Kits to Belmont Heights and Pinecrest Little League clubs, a support in lifesaving moments!
Join our 2025 efforts as a team member by registering with your respective department, while also inviting friends and family to join the cause and walk on Saturday, Nov. 15. You can also help us fundraise $20,000. UMA has committed to matching the first $10,000 raised.
All funds raised will help the AHA’s communities through professional training, education, and research funding. Together we can equip and empower our communities to take charge of their heart health!
Help us make an impact, register today!
