Our Son's Story

We walk for our son Braxton. At 20 weeks pregnant, we discovered Brax had a right-sided aortic arch with a vascular ring. We continued with imaging throughout the entire pregnancy, facing the possibility of surgery. When he was born, the diagnosis changed to a double aortic arch, necessitating surgery within the first few months of life due to emerging symptoms. At just 7 weeks old, Brax underwent surgery.

Miraculously, between his last echocardiogram and the surgery, which spanned approximately two weeks, the dormant side of his arch dissolved and healed itself. We are extraordinarily grateful and blessed to witness our baby boy's miraculous healing through the power of prayer.

We walk for all the families who have received and endured this diagnosis for their little ones. We understand the uncertainty and fear that accompany this prognosis. Throughout our journey, our caregivers were a blessing and a crucial source of support. They answered all our questions and reassured us, knowing that Brax was in the best hands.
