We’re proud to walk and fundraise for the American Heart Association because heart disease and stroke have deeply touched our family.

In 2017, we lost my incredible mother, Ann Lane, to a stroke, a loss that changed our lives forever. She was the heart of our family, and we walk in her memory, honoring her strength, her love, and her legacy.

In December 2023, my mother-in-law, Gezzelle Harris, survived a heart attack. Thanks to quick action and advances in care supported by organizations like the AHA, she’s still here with us today, and we are beyond grateful.

We walk for those we’ve lost, for those who have survived, and for the future to help fund life-saving research, education, and resources that can make all the difference.
