On a March night, I experienced sudden cardiac arrest and collapsed in an empty parking lot. My friend, Drienna Thompson, administered hands-only CPR before EMTs arrived to provide further medical assistance and transported me to a nearby hospital.
Since March 2023, I’ve enjoyed multiple milestones, including my daughters’ birthdays, graduations (middle school and high school), college start and holidays that I may not have otherwise experienced. Hands-only CPR played a crucial role in allowing me to enjoy these moments.
