In most of those cases, bystander CPR wasn’t performed. But we can change that.

Cardiac arrest can strike anyone, anytime—at home, at work, on the field, or in our neighborhoods. The difference between life and death is often how quickly someone nearby can respond. The American Heart Association is working to change that, and we’re proud to walk alongside them as the UCSD Heart Transplant & LVAD Team.
