We're Jill & Lacey!  We met in 8th grade and into our college and young adult years, we became really good friends.  God knew what he was doing when he connected us with a close bond.  While we have a lot in common, the most unique is that we both are heart moms to precious angel babies who were diagnosed with severe Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).  We have been there for each other through the devastating losses of Ivy Grace Hartle and Langley Elizabeth Flint and now we celebrate their memory by raising money for the American Heart Association so that it can be used toward critical life-saving research.  Besties at Heart is a relentless force and while we lean on each other down here, we take comfort knowing Ivy and Langley are "Besties at Heart" together in heaven.   

We are walking together, not only for our own health, but also for yours.  And for the health of our parents, our children, and our extended families.  We are walking to honor those we love who suffer from heart disease (Jodi Perry) and in memory of those who have passed from it (Michael Martin and "Bubba" Tom Langley).

The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration.  It's also an event where people work together to support one common goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
