February is American Heart Month so it's time to kick off my NH Heart Walk fundraiser!
As many of you know, I am a heart disease survivor. Due to the advancement in medical technology over the years, my two procedures had different outcomes. The American Heart Association has been a key part in that. 100 years ago this organization was founded and since then, they have raised funds for lifesaving research, advocacy for healthy communities, enhanced patient care and equal health access for all. I first got involved after my successful procedure in 2019. I have been participating in the NH Heart Walk and raising funds to help prevent and overcome heart disease.
