Hi Everyone,
It is that time of year when I reach out to my co-workers and friends and family and patients to support my team in fundraising for this very important cause. As many of you know I have worked in cardiology for 46 years now and this is my 30th year of fundraising for the AHA. We all have had personnel experiences with this disease afflicting people we know. I am currently working in CVI-3, General Cardiology AHN Network and my team represents our department the nurses and physicians and staff that work here. Each year we participate in this walk and would like your participation in walking with us to help to continue to fundraise to prevent heart disease. Three years ago one of my best friends received a heart transplant and she attends this event every year along with all of the other transplant patients. Many of our patients seen in the office also participate in this walk. This is just one of many examples of why we need to support this very important campaign and make a donation.
Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association! I’m not just walking. I’m Heartwalking. My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone. Having worked in the cardiology field for the last 46 years and I have seen and participated in the great advances we have made in fighting this illness. Unfortunately, we all have had personnel experiences when this disease has afflicted us personally or one our family members. This is why we need to continue to support and make donations to this great cause. Help me and those on my team to advance the treatment of heart disease.
Thank you in advance for your support!
