Help me be a Heart Walk Hero!
Team Cunningham will be participating in the Richmond Heart Walk for the 14th year! I feel so fortunate to be healthy enough to walk once again this year in support of a cause near and dear to my heart. Continued funding for education and research is vital to help others with heart conditions.
As many families, my family has a history of heart disease with all of my grandparents having some type of heart ailment. It was, however, a surprise when I was diagnosed with complete Heart Block in 2008, and in need of a pacemaker. In 2019 after experiencing various episodes of ventricular tachycardia, I received a defibrillator. My brother, Mark, needed open heart surgery in 2011. Thank goodness technology along with excellent doctors has advanced to allow us to do things we love. Any support is so greatly appreciated!
