It's hard to believe I've worked for the AHA for nearly 30 years. During that time we've seen so many incredible advances -- and I've personally experienced great loss from heart disease and stroke. My grandmother, "Ga." Erich's grandmother, who died of a stroke. My own father, who died suddenly of heart disease. So much progress but so much work still to be done.
