I walk for my Dad. Heart Walk 2024 holds a special place in my heart, more than ever before. This past February, during Heart Month, I lost my Dad to sudden cardiac death.
In 2020, he suffered a heart attack and underwent open-heart surgery, which granted us four more precious years together. During that time, he was able to enjoy life and do the things he loved. I have seen firsthand how the work of the American Heart Association can make a profound difference in the lives of those battling heart disease.
This year, as I walk, I carry his memory with me, and I am determined to support the cause that gave us those extra years. Your donation can help save lives and give families more time with their loved ones.
