I walk for the years that AHA's contribution to research gave my familiy with my sisters, my cousins and my friends. I walk because I saw my children play and get to know their grandmother and grandfather. None of this would have happened without the contributions that funded the lifesaving research that produced stents, bypass procedures, stroke medicine and other protocols that saved lives so we could love and live with our family for many years.
