My family has lost a few members because of heart disease. My dad passed from cardiac arrest at the age of 61, my grandmother and great aunt from strokes and my grandfather from a heart attack. A couple of months ago, I also lost one of my very good friends (who was only 45) from a heart attack. I walk to remember their lives and to help support the fight against heart disease.
