December 30th, 2023 I survived sudden cardiac arrest while on vacation in San Diego, CA with my family. I collapsed getting donuts for the kids in a grocery store, and fortunately someone called 911. The stars aligned for me that morning when there was an ambulance at the stoplight that arrived within minutes. After 2 shots of epinephrine, and 3 shocks from an AED they were able to get my heart to beat again.
I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
