I walk for my dad who i lost this year from heart diease, and i walk for my good friend Rock who passed away this year from a heart attack. I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives. This journey is deeply personal to me; it is a reflection of my daughter, Brianna, who bravely faced a heart transplant at the age of 13 in 2023. Her resilience and courage inspire me every day, reminding me of the importance of our collective fight against heart disease and stroke.
We are all connected to heart disease and stroke in some way. Whether through personal experiences or the stories of loved ones, these conditions impact us all. Together, we have the power to change this reality. Will you help me?

This year marks the Centennial of the American Heart Association, a milestone that inspires us to move health and well-being forward in vital and transformative ways. Our relentless pursuit of a world without heart disease and stroke will continue, fueled by stories like Brianna's and the countless others that echo with determination and strength.
