I am honored to be the Gulf Coast Heart Walk Chair this year.
I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. Most importantly, I walk in memory of my dad, Eddie Fairley, and my sister, Kim Fairley, who suffered from a heart attack and ultimately died due to heart disease.
I walk in their honor and for all the great ways the money raised from the heart walk is used locally to improve those in our community. The money raised helps pay for CPR kits to teach kids CPR at local schools and The Boys and Girls Clubs. Also, providing healthy food to those that may not otherwise have access. These are just a few examples but there are many more examples how each dollar raised helps our friends and neighbors.
Also, your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Have a heart and help me help the Heart Association achieve its goal of $300,000!
