Cheers to my fall -
I walk because I actually can..... because I beat all the odds....
I walk to help others... to help prevent what happened to me.....
I walk for my mother who had several Transient Ischemic strokes, I walk for my Auntie who had a heart attack.....
I walk for myself..... I had a Intracerebral Hemorrhagic stroke.
They said I might not live, I might not leave the hospital alive.... And when I did, they said I would have another within a year and die.... look at me, it's been just over a year... I have fought hard, I'm still here... I have risen up.
This year, is the Centennial of the American Heart Association, they won't stop until heart disease and stroke no longer exist.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. If you're reading this... you are tied to a stroke (survivor). We have to change that, no one should have to go through this .... Will you help me? My personal fundraising goal is not all that big, and any amount will help.
