I have a personal conncection with this disease. On March 1, 2015, I lost my father, Robert L. Comden II, to heart disease. He had suffered from CHF for almost my entire life. He was only 53 years old. Two weeks before my father passed away, his cousin, Charlie Comden, passed away from a massive heart attack. In September 2015, my grandmother passed away from her fight with CHF. Finally, 30 years ago, I lost my grandfather, Robert L. Comden I, to a heart attack.
This disease has taken so much from me. My goal is to help others never have to experience loss like I have. By working together to promote healthy living and educate people, we can prevent so many other families from experiencing the devastating affects heart disease can bring.
